Clifford Geiger is a Partner at IslerDare PC in the firm’s Columbia, Maryland office.  Prior to joining the firm in May 2024, Cliff practiced for 30 years at a management-side labor and employment boutique in Baltimore County, Maryland. 

Cliff focuses his practice on the defense of labor and employment claims and providing strategic and legal counseling to both public and private employers.

Cliff represents, counsels, and advises employers on a range of labor and employment law matters, including: all types of discrimination and retaliation claims under federal, state, and local law; employee leave and reasonable accommodation issues; employee counseling, discipline, and discharge; wage and hour compliance, investigations, and complaints; employment torts, employment contracts and severance agreements; noncompete, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements; employment contract disputes; executive compensation; employment policy and procedure creation, review, and compliance; workplace training and legal updates; investigation of workplace disputes and complaints; grievance processing; arbitration; labor negotiations; and all phases of employment-related litigation in state and federal courts as well as at the administrative levels, including before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of Labor, the Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights, and their state and local counterparts such as the Maryland Commission for Civil Rights and Maryland’s Public Employee Relations Board.

Cliff has experience litigating an array of employment matters, including claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Rehabilitation Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the National Labor Relations Act, and a variety of other matters arising under federal and state laws relating to the employment relationship.
