Matthew M. Craig is Senior Counsel at IslerDare PC.
Matt advises companies on a wide range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters. Prior to rejoining the firm in 2024, Matt spent over fifteen years working in both law firms and in-house counsel offices advising business stakeholders through the design, implementation, and administration of domestic and international employee benefits and executive compensation programs. Most recently, Matt served as Deputy General Counsel at Comcast.
Matt’s practice includes counseling clients on the legal and business considerations associated with retirement plans, health and welfare plans, wellness programs, incentive plans, and equity compensation programs. He provides strategic advice regarding compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, the Internal Revenue Code, the Affordable Care Act, COBRA, and other applicable laws. In his practice, he has guided businesses through governmental filings and self-correction programs and helped them navigate the employee benefit implications of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. Matt also has extensive experience negotiating vendor contracts for employee benefits offerings, including consulting and administrative services, HIPAA business associate services, and technology-based offerings involving local software or software as a service (SaaS) solutions.
Matt is a member of the Virginia and Pennsylvania Bars and resides with his wife and three children in Media, PA.
