Ramana R. Briggs is a Labor and Employment Associate with IslerDare, P.C. Ramana represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including those under Title VII, the ADA, PWFA, Equal Pay Act, FMLA, FLSA, and other federal, state, and local laws. She advocates for clients in court and before federal and local agencies (e.g., EEOC) in disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other workplace issues. Ramana also handles disputes and compliance issues involving non-compete, non-solicitation, confidentiality, and trade secret provisions. She regularly drafts and reviews employee handbooks, policies, and employment agreements, including restrictive covenant, severance, and settlement agreements.

In traditional labor matters, Ramana represents public and private sector employers in collective bargaining negotiations, labor relations, representation campaigns, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.

Ramana earned her law degree from American University Washington College of Law, where she served as Technical Editor for the International Law Review and gained practical experience in the Civil Advocacy Clinic in Washington, D.C., and Maryland. Before joining IslerDare, she practiced civil litigation with Hale Ball in Fairfax, Virginia.
